Fear Not
Many times we are overcome by this feeling we do not desire but yet unwillingly submerges us into depths of obscure thoughts, FEAR.
It might be the fear of becoming who you wish not to be, fear of not being enough or being too much and so much more we can think of and spend hours uncovering. From the simplest to the most complex, and with that being said, it all leads to the same finale... not accomplishing or overcoming what is presented to us!
It is sometimes "silly" to say, but I must confess, one of my fears was this enormous world of the social media, in which I contemplated so many times if it was safe or right to be part of. You might giggle about it and it's ok, sometimes I do it as well and say to myself "really, something that small?!". But let's take it from the perspective of someone that has been so reserved and private, opening up an instagram account or a blog was far beyond just a thought way deep inside buried in all these fears of becoming so vulnerable to judgement, bad interpretation of who I really am and want to share, exposing my thoughts, ideas, family, beliefs and so much that lies within what we are made of. I stopped for a moment and the verse "So do not fear, for I am with you;..." Isa 40:10 came into my mind. I was reminded I should not let this fear blur my thoughts and decisions. I am taking this huge step, getting out of my comfort zone, overcoming my fear and letting ME shine through.
Your fear might be something greater, more complex, or just "simple" like mine and no matter how low or high you may grade it, remember to FEAR NOT FOR HE IS WITH YOU! Overcome what has been keeping you to move foward and conquer it! Go move mountains!
